Fitment of Pay on Promotion from Clerical Cadre / Special Assistant to Officer Cadre in JMG Scale I, on or after 01.11.2007

Please note:-

  1. Drawing basic pay between 1st to 9th stage in the clerical scale will be fitted at the minimum of officers scale and will draw next increment on the anniversary date of promotion.
  2. Those who have completed more than one year at the basic pay of Rs. 18330 / 19300, 19100 / 20100, 19900 / 20900, 20700 / 21700, 21500 / 22500 will draw next increment after fitment on the anniversary date of last increment in the clerical cadre.
  3. Those who have completed less than one year at the basic pay of Rs. 18330 / 19300, 19100 / 20100, 19900 / 20900, 20700 / 21700, 21500 / 22500 will draw next increment after fitment on the anniversary date of promotion.
  4. Those who have completed more than one year at the basic pay of Rs. 22300 / 23300, 23100 / 24100, 23900 / 24900 will be given pay fitment at Rs. 25700 will draw next increment after fitment on the anniversary date of promotion subject to crossing their efficiency bar.
  5. Promotee officr who are drawing Fixed Personal Pay (FPP)in terms of 9th Bipartite Settlement dated 27.04.2011 may continue to draw same FPP after promotion till further revised.
  6. Drawing JAIIB or CAIIB at the time of promotion, fitment of pay will be arrived at after reducing the increments earned for JAIIB/CAIIB. He then be fitted in the officers' scale as per above table and appropriate one or two increments be added with basic pay to arrive the fitment of pay. The date of next increment will be arrived as per case referred above. However, this adjustment will not be applied where the number of increments to be reduced is higher than the number of increments to be granted.
  7. If after fitment the emoluments ( basic pay and dearness allowance) drawn on promotion are less than the emoluments ( basic pay / special pay on permanent basis /dearness allowance / stagnation increments) drawn as clerk, the difference may be protected by way of Temporary Personal Allowance to be wiped off in 3 years at the rate of 1/3 Temporary Personal Allowance. This allowance will not rank for dearness allowance and superannuation benefits.
