Manage your stress using these techniques first change the factors that you can do

  • You may not be able to walk away from a stressful job or home situation, but you can have effective results by delegating household responsibilities.
  • Exercise regularly - The natural decrease in adrenaline production after exercise may counteract the stress response. People who are physically fit handle stress better.
  • Meditation, muscle relaxation and relaxed breathing can help you relax. Focus on your hobbies or activities you find calming yourself, such as reading, listening to music or playing with your pet.
  • Find a friend - social support can help reduce stress.
  • In case stress is keeping you away from work or recreation, talk with your doctor or a specialist in behavioral medicine. Behavioral therapy is one approach that can help you gain control over your symptoms.
  • Sleep deprivation can lead to forgetfulness and problems in concentration. Read or watch TV until you become drowsy, and then go to your bedroom to fall asleep naturally. Try to maintain a regular time for going to bed and for getting up.
  • Avoid or limit caffeine, smoking and alcohol.
  • A light snack may help you relax before sleeping, but avoid heavy meals and foods that could cause heartburn. Drink less liquid before bedtime so that you wont have to go to the bathroom as often.
  • Avoid or limit naps - Daytime naps can make it harder to fall asleep at night.
  • Check your medications - consult your doctor if any of your medications both prescription and nonprescription are contributing to your problem of insomnia.

  • Be involve Active with your child / grand child. Get the whole family involved to make it a fun family outing.
  • Encourage yourself and kids in family to explore nature. Plant a flower or tree together, which will get some exercise in doing this & fresh air. Have a great weekend.
  • Did you know making funny faces relaxes tense facial muscles and you too? So loosen up those tightened muscles & have a good laugh too.
  • Did you know, food served in matching plate color tends to make you overeat? Color difference helps make the brain more aware of portion sizes.
  • According to research, spending time with your pets lowers your BP & helps relaxing tense nerves. Go out & enjoy a stroll in the park with your pets.
  • Brighten up lunch time for your kids in family while away at school. Put a special note in the lunch box to remind your child how precious they are.
