# Calculate Indexed Cost & Long Term Capital Gain upto FY 2016-17 (AY 2017-18)

Calculate Indexed Cost & Long Term Capital Gain w.e.f. 01.04.2017 i.e (FY 2017-18) - Vide notification Notification No. 44/2017/F.No.370142/11/2017-TPL dated 5th June 2017 issued NEW Cost of Inflation Index (CII) come into force w.e.f. FY 2017-18 in terms of Budget 2017, the Shift of base year from April 1, 1981 to April 1, 2001 for the purpose of computing indexation benefit.
