1. Calculate HRA @150% payable to Officer on the basis of Capital Cost of accomodation & Rent Receipt

If an officer produces a rent receipt, the House Rent Allowance payable to him/her shall be the actual rent paid by him/her for the residential accommodation in excess over 0.50% (as per joint noted dated 11.11.20) of the first stage of the Scale of Pay in which he/she is placed with a maximum of 150% of the House Rent Allowance payable to his/her area of posting.

For caliming HRA @150% on Capital cost basis of self owned House/Flat the officer should stay in the House/Flat for which he/she claim. HRA claimed on Capital Cost is fully taxable.

2. Fixed Personal Pay (FPP) payable to Officers / Workmen Employees Rates w.e.f 01.11.1993

The employees / officers who were in the Bank's service as on 01.11.1993 were granted one advance increment on account of computerization in year 1993 and employees on reaching the maximum of respective scales of pay are eligible to be granted Fixed Personal Pay (FPP) equal to the last increment drawn by them in the caddre / scale, on completion of one year in the maximum of the respective scales of pay.

So far the FPP as stated in the joint note that it shall remain frozen for the entire service irrespective of whether the officer concerned is promoted to the next higher scale or workmen promoted to officer cadre. However after the 8th bipartite settlement a clarification was issued by IBA to the effect that if an officer is promoted from one scale to another after reaching the maximum in the previous scale and receiving FPP; the frozen FPP shall continue to be paid till the officer reaches the maximum in the revised scale and after completing one year of maximum in the revised scale the FPP would be revised as applicable to the scale of promotion.

The FPP payable as per from 6th to 10th Bipartitie Settlement / Joint note of salary revision payable to Officers / Workmenn employees settlement wise / scale wsie is provided hereunder alongwith a calculator for calculation of FPP difference payable in case the FPP was drawn before promotion from one scale to higher scale / celrical to officer / subordinate to clerical cadre and it was not revised after one year of reaching of the maximum of pay scales of the scale promoted.

3. Professional Qualification Pay (PQP) - Officer & Workmen w.e.f. 1997

Officer : An Officer employee acquiring JAIIB/CAIIB (either or both parts) qualifications after reaching the maximum of the scale of pay, shall be granted from the date of acquiring such qualification the first installment of PQP and the release of subsequent installments of PQP shall be with reference to the date of release of first installment of PQP as under:

Clerical : Workmen who hereafter reach or have already reached 20th stage of the scale and have got increments in consideration of educational qualification(s), Graduation Pay / Professional Qualification Pay shall be payable as under:
