Each month, the Central Government announces the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPIN) points based on prices and inflation. The Dearness Allowance is calculated on these points. AICPIN from Nov'08 is given at the bottom of the page.
Last DA was released as 12% on pay as per 7th Pay Commission from Jan'19
Today i.e. on 28.06.19 CPI for May'19 released, Central Government Employees including Railway Employees, Defence Personnel and Pensioners DA from july 2019 is expected an increase of 4% i.e Dearness Allowance would be 16% with effect from July 2019.
