Gratuity Calculator for Central Government Employees after 7th Pay Commission Implementation - Gratuity Limit hiked to Rs 20 Lac from 10 Lac
Please Note :
- Eligibility to get Gratuity Payment - Mimimum 5 years of service.
- Years of Service for gratuity calculation - The number of years of service are rounded off to the nearest integer. It means if you have completed 6 years 6 months 10 days in the service, the length of service for gratuity calculation would be 7 years. Like wise service more than 4 years 6 months, the length of service for gratuity calculation would be 5 years.
- Death Gratuity payment Calculation - In the first row of the calculator select Death Gratuity against gratuity payment and if servcie period is less than one year select 'Yes' and the calculator will display "Service Less Than One Year" and in case service is one year or more than one year select 'No' and enter number of completed year of service as above point 2. (e.g. if service of the employee unfortunately expired is 2 years and 7 months the completed year of service for the purpose of gratuity calculation is 3 years.)
Retirement / Death Gratuity Payment revised by Government of India, Ministry of Personnel vide their letter dated 04.08.2016 and the revised provisions apply to Government servants who retire/die in harness on or after 1.1.2016
